Unwanted ads in new website  en

I've just published my new website--and when looking it up on the net, I find that it's crawling with ads not planted there by me. And on top of every page it now says: 'Ads not by this site.' I'll say they're not. Some are downright pornographic, and all of them highly disruptive--including words in m,y own texts in the pages themselves mysteriously underlined and linked to ads. I haven't a clue as to where all this garbage comes from and how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Hello Torstein,

It will certainly not be from WebSite X5, rest assured.

Are you running any third-party scripts on your new site?

Have you tried viewing your site in another browser?  It actually is more likely to be malware in your own browser causing the issue, rather than anything within your X5 project or on your server.

For example, I think it might be something similar to this:

Let us know what you think.

Kind regards,

Paul

You're quite right, it's malware all right. A sneak called Qone8 that's imposible to get ridd of by normal means. However, I've found a solution to the problem (hopefully): an application called SpyHunter 4, that right now seems to be doing a thorough job of ridding my system of tis and an unbelievavle number of other, hidden infections. I blush to say how many there were, and that I had no idea they were there. SpyHunter is hereby recommended.
