Menu Buttons Don't Work On Ipad

When I access my x5v8 website on my pc it is fine, but on my ipad I find none of the menu buttons with sub-menus are active. The menu buttons without sub-menus are fine and will open the page normally. Can anyone help?

I had a similar issue when I updated my site from Evo 8 to Evo 9. At the moment I have resorted to publishing the site with Evo 8 as everything worked, photo galleries, drop down menus etc.
Note that photo galleries have changed in Evo 9 to include some java and some flash ones, the flash ones wont work on the smart phones or Ipads. I think some of the issue regarding drop down menus are potentially linked to how they are created in 9 vs 8 ( presuming there is a difference ) Maybe Ev9 uses flash ???
