FeedReady problem on Professional 10  en

I have installed Professional and am unable to get the Mobile App program to really work. Has anyone else experienced this? I am confused as to whether or not the FeedReady signal is just sitting on my site waiting for a mobile user to trigger it? What do I need to put on my site other than check one box off and have blog or RSS content? Help Bob

It works the other way around, your mobile app checks the site for RSS feeds and displays a message if found any changes. At start it will download your active rss feeds and blog items. Did this work ? If not Check the first page in V10, you need to specify the correct website adress. This is also the case in your mobile, be aware of having the www correct.

OK, I figured it out (I think). You need to create a link on your webpage that the visitor clicks on. That should link to your x5feedready.xml file

So, you would have a link that goes tohttp://www.yourwebsite.com/x5feedready.xml

That seems to work. Since Feedready wants you to put a web address into their list of sites, I entered the same link info witht the x5feedready address and it worked but shouldn't the visitor just be required to enter the address without the x5feedready.xml portion?

Thanks

Bob

Yes they should. Just the webadress. For a link to feadready there is a special part oin the link section to create this. This works only for people offcource with mobile app.

So to summ up:

  1. So to work you need a correct website adres in page 1
  2. Yoe need to add the website adress in feadready on your mobile.
  3. to get a link for download use the special links inside X5.
