Since i have updated to latest websiteX5 when i publish my site (in french) the european character (UTF8) do not appear correctly on the menus and bottom of my website www.naturoyoga.ch.

example : The bottom menus have strange characters instead of "é" Page d'accueil | Bienvenue | Les cours de Yoga | Le Yoga et la Santé | Galerie / Images | Nous contacter | Ayurveda Pour Tous | Liens | Plan général du site

Also i have image generation error for some images that display a local link to my desktop only... can you please help or point me on what to change ?

Hello Hamitouche,

The characters are not correctly displayed because the server is sending the pages with the UTF-8 Format. You need to check if there's an option to change the character encoding format to UTF-8 or contact the hosting provider to make change it for you.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

Dear all, i have asked my hoster and he forced the site in UTF-8. This does not solve the problem.. he saw the header of the pages are indeed seen as UTF-8 but the content of my pages are a mix of UTF-8 and iso-8859-1. The issue arised when we migrated from WebsiteX5 V8 to V9. Therefore we think the software generated the issue while migrating the website to V9 (it worked perfectly well before on V8).

Hello Hamitouche,

I checked your website and now it's displayed correctly with the option to force UTF-8.

Many thanks!
