WebSite5x.exe error  en

After installing WebSite X5 Evolution 10, every time I shut down my computer I get a error message that WebSite5x.exe can't shut down.

In the taskmanager every session of Website5x I've opened today still remains after I close the program.

Any suggestions as to why this happens with the new version?

Hello Ole,

Please try to uninstall the program and then delete the WebSite X5 folder from program files and then install it again. It if should not help uninstall the .NET Framework 4 and then use this tool: http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip

Once done reinstall the Framework from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718

Please let me know if this helps.

I did uninstall WebSite X5 Evolut10n, removed the folder and reïnstalled the program. Still the shutdown didn't work.

So I uninstalled Net framework 4 (including extension), restarted my computer, used the clean-up tool and reïnstalled Framework from the mentioned link. The installation didn't succeed (not repairable mistake)Yell see attachment

I used System recovery and resetted my computer to yesterday's configuration.

Again a couple of hours busy but no result. Far more XP (SP3) users are not amused.  The update didn't work as well (406).

Hello,

We are working to find a solution and for the moment we suggest to close the program also from the Taskmanger by pressing ctrl+alt+del to have it closed and avoid the issue you experience.

Many thanks!

Hello Ole,

With the latest update this issue has been fixed and the future updates will be installed normally without having to close manually the program from taskmanager.

Many thanks!
