I have inserted a Logo for my emil responses to the site contacts. But when I send test emails the logo comes up as a box with a broken link symbol.

I have tried both GIF & PNG files, and it happens on the copy to me and the customer acknowledgment copy, yet another silly fault Cry

Hello Colin,

Did you type correctly your site's url at step 1? Remember to type the subfolder too. Wink

Not sure what you mean, it's a converted project, and the URL is as it has always been. The URL itself is directed to the correct folder on my server.

I have the Advanced Settings/E-mail/Company Logo Image File set to an existing file in my Linked File folder, and it shows on preview, but doesn't show in the client confirmation or email to me, just a place holder with a broken file icon in the top left corner.

Can you attach here one of these emails? I'll check the path of the picture.

To me, it looks like the path is wrong. Foot in mouth

Don't know how to do that. It would be easier if you went to www,colin-allison.com/testeq and sent a test email. You would then get an acknowledgment email.

Thank you, Colin. I did it and I've received your email. As you can see from the attachment, the picture is visible. I think that you can't see the email because:

  1. Your email client hides it for security reasons (in this case you should check your client's settings)
  2. The picture is in png and so some clients don't show them. Did you try use a jpg image instead?

PS: There's a typo error in the email form confirmation page. There's written "Conformation" instead of "Confirmation". Wink

Hello,

I have the same problem, yet it seems to depend on what server/host it is published.

One webshop the contact mail form shows the logo image immediatly.

Onother webshop ( other server, does not show the same image )

see attachement

Any suggestions how to solve this?

Thx!

Hi,

Usually this problem is related to a wrong url typed at step 1 in the site's options. Make sure the site's url contains the subfolders where the site is eventually published. Wink

If you've published your site on a domain like example.com in a subfolder called "testfolder", you should type "http://example.com/testfolder".

Hi Claudio,

Thx, I checked the url in step one, and this was not exactly the url.

Once I changed that, the logo shows in the mail.
