Links Creating Link To Pdf File

Links I need to put a PDF file into my web site and the manual and help options tells me to create a link to that document in a text or image. my problem is that when I set a page to take a text or image the link option remains grey and cannot be accessed. can you help?

Hi there! You need to select the image/ text you wish to link in order to activate the icon. Look at the tutorial, step 3 http://www.websitex5.com/en/video-tutorial.html

Many thanks for your reply, it was a late night session trying to learn as well as create hence the question. I have looked at the video again and can create links as I need.
