Email error experienced after sending from website email form

I created a simple email form for end users to send a request for information from website.
Upon hitting "send" from live uploaded site - the browser returns the error below:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/27/d353651104/htdocs/OZ/res/x5engine.php on line 2358
Anyone else experience this?

change the php Version on your Webspace to Version 5 or ask the webspace provider.
