Lost website5x website file from computer. Can I download it back from website to edit it?

I have created my website with website x5evolution8 and uploaded it.(www.dr-kerr.com)
After a hard drive failure I have lost the file of the website on my computer but it is still online.
Is there a way to download the online website to store it properly (i.e. backup) and edit it to re-upload?

Hello Stephen,
Unfortunately not. Your best option is to download any text, images and media files which are still on the web server using either a browser, or preferably an FTP client like FileZilla.
You can then use these files to create new Text, Image, Video Objects, etc. within a brand new WebSite X5 project. Make sure to backup your new X5 project regularly from then on.
You could also try recovering the data from the failed hard drive (providing it still spins up) using a data recovery software.
I have personally had good experience in the past using such software. I can highly recommend HDD Recovery Pro.
