Where are the old templates in version 11?  en

Author: Jan G.

My website at www.skiendyreklinikk.no is using a template "animal" from evolution 10, but when I upgraded to evolution 11 the template is gone and my whole layout for the website is changed when converted my project to evolution 11.

Hello again, thank you for the tip, but the "edit the template hue" option is gone in version 11 when I choose standard templates, so whenever I eksport or copy a standard template from v10 it automatically comes up with the original colouring and not my modified version. The template I use for www.skiendyreklinikk.no is originaly brownish but I change the hue to aprox 46 level of light green. Is there any way this option could be incorperated in the version 11 the software?

Jan,

This otion is removed from V11. If you want it make an Idea post for Incomedia to get it back. Thats the best you can do for the moment.

In this post is an option on how to create the effect yourself:

Hello Jan,

please follow the instructions you will find below to import your colored template correctly in version 11

  • Open your Evolution 10 project (the project you have the colored template you want to keep in), go into Step 5 and choose the ''export to disc'' option then choose the folder you want to export it in. This will copy all your website files in the desired folder.
  • Now export your project and create the .iwzip file in step 5.
  • Look into the folder you have created and extract then save all the files that are part of your template. You should be able to to find them in the ''style'' folder. The images are Background, footer, header etc.
  • Now open your version 11. You're going to have to import your .iwzip project file here in step 1 with your template in it, but as soon as you will open it, you will not be able to see it in the correct color.
  • Go into the Template style section - and choose template structure. Here you can add all the files you have just saved in each template section (header, background, footer etc. ).
  • Once this has been done, you just have to save and preview your project!

I hope this helps!

Samantha
