Where has the form gone to fill in website keywords (324) for the universal site?

I can only find individual page forms.

Hello Nigel,

You can find it in step 2 in the page properties where you can add the keywords according to the content of every page which helps better for the SEO instead of having the same for every page.

Many thanks!

@Claudio D.

What you are saying is that no keywords should be added to:

1)

1

General Settings

Website Keywords

2)

And keywords should be added to individual pages?

Can you please confirm?

Thanks in advance!

Hi PJD...Yes...Claudio is saying that we cannot now add our keywords as a GENERAL SETTING like we did in v10 but only page by page (you see that form in the GENERAL page properties) when you look into the page properties as from "The Site Map Creation" tree.

Claudio is probably right...it's just that on a big site it takes ages to do all these keywords page by page.

At the moment I have put ALL my keywords in The Home Page properties and I'll see how my stats look day by day.

@Nigel

i am using V10 Professional, and I am not overly confident, I am getting the best performance from my site.

I am wondering if the keywords in general settings are affecting my page by page keywords?

I have applied keywords for each individual page, however if the general settings keywords are used by default that would explain why some of my pages are geeting poor rankings?

Any feedback from the moderators or incomedia would be much appreciated?

if this section is not needed, why is it still present in the program?

Regards,

PJ D

Hello PJ D.,

The general keywords are only added to the pages where you didn't add specific ones in step 2.

This function was allowing to have keywords on every page but in Version 11 it has been set so to add specific keywords in every page instead of using the same on all.

Many thanks!

I don't find that Google penalises a webmaster for having the same set of keywords on all pages.

I watch this all the time and my stats show that visitors see my website in the top three Google Search Engine places for just about every single topic I describe in my pages.

Maybe, we could STILL have the OPTION of having our keywords on all pages, huh?

Hello Nigel,

You can suggest it with an "Idea" post so the the developers takes it in consideration.

To have different keywords for every page allows to show as result directly the page with the correct content.

This allows you to appear under more results.

Many thanks!
